The GCC Academy team is looking for its LATAM Regional Lead to own the planning, activation and scaling of programs and processes that will enable GCC teams to become the most valuable partner to industry-leading clients. In this role you will partner with leaders from across the Global Business Team, Cross-functional partners, and Academy peers to 1) Identify opportunities to improve team’s performance and enable Partnership Excellence; 2) Codify, Activate and Scale best practices to help solve Client’s more important Jobs to be Done and 3) Help identify and advance future relevant work streams that can accelerate growth and anticipate future needs of our teams and clients.
LATAM Regional Lead, GCC Academy (Global Clients and Category Team) Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities to improve team’s performance and enable Partnership Excellence. ○ Help identify opportunities for Joint Value creation with our clients that build on our strengths and can help us solve for their strategic priorities. ○ Help GCC teams define a roadmap to advance their partnerships and provide the tools and methodologies to accelerate that growth. ○ Help identify interventions that could lift team’s output and performance.
- Activate, and Scale best practices to help solve Client’s more important Jobs to be Done. ○ Identify and codify best practices from across global partnerships and create the appropriate tools to scale that knowledge across GCC and beyond. These may include case studies, business cases and activation guides. ○ Support GCC teams on how to setup and run a transformational global partnership, from global account planning and internal coordination through to developing global learning agendas and implementation of solutions. ○ Develop or adapt the right tools for the region, bringing the right resources and support from around the globe while becoming the local expert representing LATAM needs. Help to adapt and localize those solutions to the specific regional needs.
- Help identify and advance future relevant work streams. ○ With a partnership centric approach, support and help define the media adjacent and beyond media opportunities that could accelerate growth for the region. ○ Bring the 1FB approach to life in LATAM. As we roll out an integrated support for key partnerships, the Academy will play a decisive role in this implementation across our book of clients. ○ Help define a knowledge distribution strategy for the region so that we can scale learnings to as many clients as possible in a coordinated effort.
- The candidate will also be part of the GCC LATAM leadership team and as such is expected to provide critical thinking as well as leverage the global resources of the Academy to bring to the region the appropriate solutions and thought leadership that will accelerate attainment of regional goals
- This role is also expected to drive knowledge from the region to the globe by working on GCC wide solutions in collaboration with your peers. This role will be mainly internal facing but with some direct client interactions, coaching them on how to accelerate partnership growth and facilitating scaled capability and workshops. This position is based out of Sao Paulo, Brazil and reports to the GCC Academy Regional Manager.
Minimum Qualifications
- 10+ years’ experience working directly with marketing, media and/or consulting companies.
- Demonstrated critical and strategic thinking and the ability to develop and implement successful action plans.
- A simplifier and innate problem solver
- Demonstrated curiosity to uncover pockets of excellence and scale them across a team/organization
- Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams, multiple stakeholders, and all levels of management
- Ability to communicate effectively, across large audiences with authority.
- Ability to track success and iterate programs based on feedback
- Experience coaching others, or in developing or running workshops and training programs.
